Zach Bonner
Zach is a young boy who deeply cares about people; he has shown this compassion through a number of different projects, he is also the founder of The Little Red Wagon Foundation (LRWF). The foundation’s focus is on underprivileged kids and through a number of sponsored walks Zach has been able to connect with children all over the country and raise awareness of their difficulties.
Zach has walked from Tampa (his hometown) to Tallahassee, Tallahassee to Atlanta, and from Tampa to the White House. On December 25th 2009 he started his coast to coast walk to raise awareness of the 1.3 million homeless children that reside in the U.S. In addition to all this he is regularly making up backpacks full of essential items that are then passed on homeless shelters to be used by kids there.
Over the past 4 years Zach has raised thousands of dollars for homeless children all across the U.S. He has also helped thousands of families hit by natural disasters primarily in Florida and Louisiana. In 2006 he was given the Presidential Call to Service award by President Bush.
